What to know about solid color epoxy floors

A solid color floor is one even color of epoxy over prepared concrete, the clean, simple choice for shops, warehouses and garages.

Most of the work is the prep you never see. The surface is ground open so the coating bonds into the concrete instead of sitting on top of it.

01

Clean and bright

A light solid color reflects the light you already have and makes dropped parts and spills easy to see.

02

Lines and zones

Walkways, parking lines and colored zones can be built into the floor in a second color.

03

Texture where it is wet

A fine texture can be added where the floor gets wet, chosen area by area.

04

Your color

Greys are the most picked, but solid systems come in a range of colors. Ask to see samples.

FAQ

FAQ

Questions

Does a solid color show dirt more than flake?

It can. A plain color shows dust and marks that a flake pattern hides, which is also why it suits a shop where you want to see what is on the floor. A mid grey is the usual middle ground.

Can parking lines or walkways go in at the same time?

Yes. Lines and zones go in as part of the coating system in a second color, so they wear with the floor. Bring a sketch of where you want them.
